Grouse Lamp: Norwegian Heritage Lamp – “Black Grouse” Stove Ornament
This unique lamp features an original front plate ornament from a traditional Norwegian wood stove, depicting the black grouse (orrfugl).
From the mid-1800s until around 1940, cast iron stoves adorned with this and other iconic wildlife motifs were a staple in Norwegian homes. Produced by renowned foundries such as Ulefos Jernværk and Bærums Verk, these designs are closely associated with the National Romantic movement in Norway at the time.
Probably around 1920, this decorative bird element was removed from a stove and repurposed into a lamp—all made in cast iron. The lamp weighs approximately 2 kg. Newly renovated by local craftsman and lamp expert; Frank. Light bulb is included.

A rare, collectible piece - a vintage Art Deco figural pitcher by Ditmar Urbach, hand-painted in vibrant red, yellow, and black. This playful goat design is a standout example of 1930s Czech pottery.
The pitcher is in very good vintage condition, with two minor marks on in the glaze on the right side and a small chip on the lip. Please see images. Stamped on the base: Czechoslovakia, 1038. 21.5 cm

Italian 1960s gilt-tole ribbon chandelier with bows and 7 dripping candle-style light bulb holders. The chandelier is inished in a warm hand painted gold tone. Originally from Continental Restaurant in Oslo, this is an very rare piece, likely custom-made.
The lamp has been carefully restored and works well. Overall in excellent condition.
